AROUND THE WORLD WITH CLARK MILLER

Clark has traveled all over the world compiling a library of film and digital images both on land and above and below the surface of the world’s oceans.  Many of these images can be found on his website www.aquaterraimagery.com

Although Clark is constantly upgrading his camera equipment, his current camera system of choice is Nikon.  Combining black and white with color has become his signature style.  Clark typically incorporates three to four light sources underwater, and uses specialized light diffusers he designed.  This gives him the structure of lighting he likes to create true works of art.

Please join us at the NCUPS meeting on May 14 to view a compilation of Clark’s favorite images from around the world.

JULY 9 FEATURED PRESENTER: JASON BRADLEY

A PHOTO COMPETITOR'S FLOW OF WORK.

Professional nature & marine photographer and digital workflow instructor Jason Bradley will discuss the tips and tricks needed for a quick and effective workflow when working within a competition environment. Jason will demo image ingestion, organization, sorting and basic development using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop Lightroom. Don't miss this talk at the NCUP's monthly meeting on July 9th in time for the Beach & Boat Dive Competition in Monterey. See you there!

Biography:
Jason initially wanted to be a marine scientist, so he started his quest as a student of marine science at Santa Barbara. Photography was an afterthought. While attending school in Santa Barbara, he was particularly taken with marine mammals, and to fuel his interest he worked with marine mammal biologists and at Santa Barbara's Marine Mammal Center. As an aspiring field researcher, the camera was as much of an essential tool as the notepad when observing subjects and collecting data. Over time, his interests shifted from the library and the lab to the lens and the darkroom. Although he still really likes marine science, he loves nature and marine related photography most. Jason’s home office and studio are in Monterey Bay. His work has been published and exhibited both locally and abroad, including being featured on National Geographic Television and the Fine Living Network. You also might have viewed his photos in Nature’s Best, National Wildlife, and Scuba Diving magazines just to name a few.

Visit Jason's website www.bradleyphotographic.com for samples of his work.
